Laudamus was formed in 1990 to prepare and sing liturgical music for Cathedrals, Priories or Abbeys during the times when their own choirs were on holiday. We are also a resource for our own parish church: St Mary's, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, and other local churches. Since our formation we have sung services in more than a dozen cathedrals in England and Wales, and have also toured in Holland, Italy, France, and Hungary. Our repertoire now includes light and secular music, enabling us to produce concerts for various charities and events and to sing a cappella at all sorts of occasions, including weddings and funerals. Our regular rehearsals are on Sunday evenings. There are some vacancies, especially for tenors.
